Going out for a first run by myself after being back was …. weird.
Mind: All right Legs, lets go run for a bit now. Its 16 weeks to Chicago and the start of the real training period.
Legs: Run? Oh Yes, Sure!
Mind: Garmin on, body glide on. Lets start! Giddy up!
Legs: Er …. I AM moving along.
Mind: You are walking, not running.
Legs: WHAT D’YA MEAN WALKING? I AM PUTTING ONE FEET IN FRONT OF ANOTHER AS FAST AS I CAN.
Heart & Lungs: Legs *gasp* are right *gasp* you know, *gasp* we are *gasp* not slackers *gasp*
Mind: Oh Boy .. this is going to be tough.
