Smothered myself with more body glide.   The Swim: The water was nice and warm, but I’d overlooked a MAJOR thing – I…

ING Half Marathon

ING Half Marathon

My First Half Marathon – and I’m hooked!     After a night of tossing and turning, the alarm clock woke me up at 4.30am. My first Running Purchase!

I bought myself a water belt! Ashley (my super speedy running friend) says this is awesome. I have a 8 mile run coming up soon and I will need to drink somewhere along the road.  Of course, Guru thinks it is over the top. *Men*

Chattahoochee Challenge 10k

Chattahoochee Challenge 10k

This race was a logical progression for me to lead up to the ING half next month. And very weirdly, this is the first 10k I’ve actually trained to run (Peachtree I just walked with a friend; the Labor Day I just showed up and went). It was great weather and a very pretty route along the river, flat except for one hill at 5 miles. I ran the whole thing in 1hrs 24min @ 13:32 pace and I felt…
