Big Sur Marathon sold out within 26 hours! That is insanely fast for a race that is slightly more ‘tough’ (In My Opinion, at least) because of elevation gains, even though it is gorgeous! Wings to carry you to the finish line, literally – Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend. Run Disney announced their latest race in January in Disneyland. Maybe this is one I’ll do with my girls over a long vacation when they are all grown up.
Almost everyone who runs long distance is aware of this special event – The Boston Marathon. One of the Race Director’s started the event after attending an Olympics marathon; and selected the Patriot’s day to celebrate the US’s great runner – Paul Revere. Atlanta Track Club is introducing a lottery system for their flagship 10k Peachtree Road Race on July 4th. What does that mean to the FauxRunner? Of course I will “apply” and then hope to get selected.
