Ever since I’ve been consistently running, I’ve received a lot of compliments from people; even after I stopped worrying about weight loss and concentrated on just having fun.

I got my best compliment today.

I stepped into the house after a run – hair wild from the wind, sweat running down my face and stinking from the sweat, wearing my regular Brooks running Capri and full length shirt. As I was trying to find a snack to fuel on, the husband came up behind me and stared. And stared. Then he tells me that I’m looking darned s_xy.

That comes pretty close to saying the most romantic thing in a most un-romantic situation.
