Peachtree Road Race 2012 – Where I just Chilled

Peachtree Road Race 10k. An annual Atlanta tradition. 60,000 people. Entry by lottery only.

With all the recent developments, I didn’t run it. Its not my favorite race anyway. The logistics to get to the race and back is a big PITA and takes more time than actually running it, not to mention the soaring temperatures of July 4th. I went over to the finish with friends and watched others run, although I will confess that I did have a tiny twinge of envy that I hadn’t run it.

With the initial group of fast finishers (sub-50s)

Just a sample of the hydration and re-fueling that happened
